More yarn purchased!

Yeah. I'm already plotting my next sweater.

I've decided to do Ultra Femme from SNB Nation. So, a nice little order to Yarnmarket is on its way. In April, I'll buy Knitpits Andean Silk in Sangria to make Knitty's Blaze.

(Really, Jenna, if you're reading this, I'm not stalking you. I just really love your patterns. ;) )

Finally, we have pictures.

Tempting, as modeled by Yours Truly. This has been washed once, and I notice that it's a lot nicer now that it's been blocked. I love this pattern! I think if I make another one, I"ll actually make the small-- this one is a a bit big in the torso on me. Made in Debbie Bliss Cashmerino in Pink with black organza ribbon. I am normally not so wide-in-the-waist. I might need to shrink this a bit. Let's be honest. The damn thing is hanging on me. Now that I look at myself, man, I look worn out. Anyway. That's a discussion for a different blog.

Booga Bag, which took me about... a day and a half? Noro Kureyon #24, I think.

6 straight repeats into Clapotis. It's slow but sure. Noro Silk Garden #84.

Right now I'm on cloud nine because I got an email back from Jenna Adorno (asking about her sweaters shown on Knitty Gritty) saying that she had seen my blog (shown to her by Vickie Howell!) and that she had been meaning to write me! I'm embarassed to admit that I kind of squeed, as I really like BOTH of their work, but I particularly like Jenna's because although she's quite a bit thinner than me, her patterns seem to flatter me. Well, except when they're too big. But that's operator error. Anyway... Yay!

I am a bad blogger.

I need to be spanked with aluminum needles.

I haven't posted pictures. I'm sorry. I've just been OBSESSED with my clapotis!

I started it on Tuesday, after much cursing and, as I had never done an ssk. I know. What a beginner she is! Anyway. I am now to the point where I'm going to drop stitches in about four rows. HOW EXCITING. Well. *I*'m excited, anyway.

I swear I'll get around to pictures this weekend. My next project, it has been decided, is To Dye For, out of that katia ingenua I was talking about a few days ago.

Next week-- craft party at Natalie's which will be great fun. If I work REALLY diligently, I might actually be done with clapotis by then.

Booga done!

Aaaand... two FOs in 6 days!

Booga's in the wash, felting. I made the Icord slightly shorter, so we'll see how it turns out. I have enough Kureyon to make a felted Ipod holder too, but if I work with that Kureyon anymore, I'll scream.

So, I started Clapotis. :) Piiiiiiiiiictures soon!

Speedy Mc Speedalot!

I've become a fairly fast knitter.

I guess this happened because I really kicked it up a notch to finish tempting in time for Saturday. I had started a Booga bag back in September, and maybe got as far as half a ball into it. I finished that ball, and did another half a ball last night, during MILLION DOLLAR BABY and an episode of CROSSING JORDAN. Speedy McSpeedalot. I should finish it tomorrow night, then off to my mom's to felt it, because we have a Whirlpool Duet, which doesn't felt. Meh. I know, I'm supposed to be working on the French Hussy, but I haven't started it, and I can't read a pattern in a theatre.
I promise, pictures of Tempting tonight.
