A knitting update.

There won't be any knitting on stage. Oh, well.

I haven't had much chance to work on TEMPTING. Sigh. I'm going to try to do it while I'm working on my lines.

Um.

I guess that's it? Wow. Not much knitting to update. But Madalyn was making me feel so bad about not updating, that I am updating. :D

1. What is the total amount of music files on your computer?

Let's see. According to iTunes, 2,889 songs for a total of 14.14 GB. I have a 20GB iPod, so it'll be full somewhat soon.

2. What was the last CD you bought?

I bought 3 at one time: The Postal Service's District Sleeps Alone Tonight, Pink Martini's Sympathique and The Arcade Fire's Funeral.

3. What was the last song you last listened to before reading this message?

"Exchange" from Massive Attack's Mezzanine

4. Write down five songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.

Caramel, by Suzanne Vega
The Blower's Daughter, by Damien Rice
Cannonball, by Damien Rice
Vertigo, by U2
Waterloo Sunset, by The Kinks

5. To whom will you pass the stick, and why? (Thank you, Colleen for fixing the grammar on this question!)

Marla, because I like her.

Natalie, because I'm curious. I like her too. :)

BONUS QUESTION (as added by Colleen) 6. What is one song or album that you should listen to more often, or an album that you don't have and you should?

I don't own Joshua Tree. Isn't that insane?

This is the best news I've heard all week.

A friend of mine, whose friend is a tax accountant and actor, told him that everything you do for a 501(c)(3) charity is considered a donation, and is tax deductible.

This includes mileage, any costumes bought, etcetera.

This means the yarn I bought to make tempting for GILLIAN? TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

Yes. I get to WRITE OFF YARN.

I think I am the happiest knitter in the world right now.

I must also convince my director to allow me to knit on stage. This is imperative. Because I can deduct THAT yarn TOO! Bwahahahahaha.

Knitting Resolutions.

I resolve:

To knit every day.

To finish projects.

To sock.

January is Sockuary, as coined by Natalie so I shall sock. If I get one sock done, I shall be happy-- as I am working on a sweater, darn it! (ha ha. darn it. Ha. Oh, I kill me.) I recast on Tempting today, and I am working on it as I watch Iron Chef America.
